The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) was conducted on May 5 across the country for approximately 1.5 million candidates by National Testing Agency (NTA). After analyzing the question paper of the examination, experts keep the paper in easy to moderate in difficulty level as most of the questions were from the topics already covered in NCERT text book.
NEET 2019 was moderate as per the applicants and that may result in higher cutoff. The authority will release the answer key soon followed by announcement of result.
NEET which is conducted every year is an entrance-cum-eligibility test for admission in undergraduate courses of both medical and dental colleges across the country. As the examination is already completed in all the states except for Odisha where the exam will be held again, the authority will release the NEET Answer Key soon on the official website and final NEET Result will be released in the month of June followed by NEET Counselling.

A panel of experts in the field when asked about this year’s examination, they all in unison agreed that the paper had direct questions from NCERT textbooks and the entire question paper can be called a easy to moderate one. One of the expert from a leading online exam portal said that the exam has no surprise element and the exam pattern also remained same as the last year. There were almost 7-8 direct questions and repeated from previous year's paper and NCERT text book. As the exam was quite easy there are high chances of candidate’s scoring well in the examination. The general cut off for qualifying NEET would range from 125-135, but for admissions in top medical colleges the cut off may vary 510-520.
