GATE 2021 – The Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IIT Bombay) which is the conducting body of GATE 2021 Exam will conduct GATE 2021 Exam on 6th, 7th, 13th, and 14th February 2021. The exam will be conducted as a center-based exam. IIT Bombay has released a set of instructions for GATE 2021 Exam days for the benefits of GATE aspirants. These instructions have been released on the official website of GATE i.e. gate.iitb.ac.in and students can check these instructions by logging into the official website of GATE by providing their credentials. Since GATE 2021 is being conducted amidst the outbreak of COVID19 pandemic, GATE aspirants must follow these guidelines in order to take GATE Exam.
The institute has already released GATE Admit Card on its official website and candidates can download their respective GATE Hall Tickets by visiting the GOAPS portal and logging into their account by entering their enrolment ID or email id and password.

Instructions to be Followed by Candidates
GATE 2021 will be conducted from 6th February 2021 and the examination will be concluded on 14th February 2021 and on 5th February 2021, some miscellaneous activities will be hosted. These miscellaneous activities primarily include trial mock tests by zonal officials, invigilators' briefing, scribe selection, preparation at exam centers, etc.
This year, the number of exam takers is expected to reach 9 lakhs. Below mentioned are the exam day instructions that all the GATE Exam Aspirants must follow on the date of examination.

Candidates must reach their respective GATE Exam Center at least one hour before the commencement of the examination.

Candidates will be required to follow the rope queues and floor marks made by the exam center officials.

If any candidate is found with body temperature above 99.4 degrees Fahrenheit, he/she will not be allowed to enter the allotted examination room but will be taken to an isolated area with the GATE Exam center.

Candidates will be required to wear masks and gloves in order to take exam. They must also carry their personal pen, hand sanitizer, water bottle (transparent), etc.

After the exam is complete, leave the examination hall in an orderly manner.

Candidates must drop their respective admit cards, rough work sheets, in the drop box provided at the examination center.

Candidates will always be advised and expected to maintain social distancing.
