The Common Law Admission Test would be held on May 13, 2018. The online CLAT Application procedure would begin in the month of January 2018. CLAT 2018 would be conducted for admission into Integrated LLB and LLM Courses that are offered by 19 National Law Universities of India.

In 2017, the examination was conducted by Chanakya National Law University, Patna. The CLAT Official Website is expected to go live in the month of January.
The last date to submit the CLAT Application Form is declared as March 31, 2018.The CLAT Important Dates are as follows:
Application Procedure: January 1, 2018
Last Date for Application Submission: March 31, 2018
Examination Date: May 13, 2018
The Education qualifications necessary for CLAT 2018 are as follows:
The candidates should have passed Grade 12 or equivalent from a recognized Board. The students appearing for the Board Examinations this year would also be able to apply. The students should have scored a minimum of 45% marks (40% for SC/ST) candidates.
The candidates should have completed a five year integrated LLB Programme or recognized institute's degree which is equivalent. A minimum of 55% marks is required to be scored by candidates in general. (For SC and ST)it is 50%.
The Application Fees would be as follows:
General/OBC/Special Ability - INR 4000
SC/ST: INR 3500
The candidates can make the fee payment online through Credit/Debit Card or Net Banking.
CLAT is a unified law entrance exam conducted to determine admission of candidates into various courses offered by various Law institutes. In the year 2014, CLAT Result was announced amidst much of a hullabaloo, leaving about 30,000+ law aspirants clueless. It further delayed the CLAT Counselling procedure. About 1700 UG Course Seats and 491 Postgraduate seats are available on the basis of CLAT Results declared.
