CLAT 2026 Application Form Date
The CLAT Application Form was released on the official CLAT website on August 1, 2025. Candidates can fill the application form online by registering themselves on the website and then filling out the CLAT application form followed by the CLAT fee payment. Candidates could apply for the CLAT exam till 31st October 2025. Before applying, candidates must thorughly check the CLAT eligibility criteria as only those who fulfill the criteria will be allowed to appear for the exam. The minimumCLAT eligibility criteria 2026for admission to the 5-year law program is 10+2 pass with a minimum of 45 per cent marks. For LLM program, the minimum requirement is a 3-year or 5-year LLB pass with a minimum of 50 per cent marks.
CLAT Admit Card Date 2026
The Consortium will release the CLAT admit cardfew days before the exam. H Candidates should keep an eye on this page for official dates once they are released on the website. The admit card for CLAT can be downloaded using the registered mobile number and password, and carries important exam details like the candidate's name, address, photo and signature, exam date, time, and venue, etc. It is an important document which must be presented at the centre for entry.
CLAT 2026 Exam Date
The CLAT 2026 exam, as decided by theConsortium of National Law Universities (NLUs) is to be conducted on 7th December 2025 as an offline Paper-Based-Test (PBT). The exam is conducted for a duration of 2 hours at 139 exam centres across the nation. Candidates must carry their admit card and a valid photo ID proof to appear for the CLAT exam. TheCLAT question paper 2026for UG courses contains total 120 passage-based objective-type questions from five subjects -English Language,Logical Reasoning,Legal Reasoning,Current Affairs including General KnowledgeandQuantitative Techniques.
CLAT 2026 Answer Key Date
The CLAT provisional answer Key will be released on the official website in December 2025. The CLAT provisional answer key can be challenged by the candidates if they feel they can improve their score. The objection window for answer key will be open only for a few days and hence, the candidates must challenge the same within the set time-frame. The final CLAT answer key will then be released after reviewing and taking into account all the relevant objections, on the website in online mode.
CLAT Result Date
The consortium will declare the CLAT Result once the final answer key is out. The result is released in the form of CLAT Scorecard containing details like the marks obtained, All India Rank (AIR), name, roll number, application number, category, total score obtained, section-wise score obtained, exam qualifying status, and category rank. The CLAT result can be downloaded using the login credentials - application number and password/DOB.

CLAT 2026 Counselling Date
Counselling and seat allotment is the final stage of CLAT admission process, wherein all candidates who qualify for the law entrance exam will be able to participate inCLAT counselling. The counselling and seat allotment process will be centralised and completely online. Through CLAT counselling, candidates are allotted seats in respective courses andNLUsbased on merit.
