Clarification Issued on the EWS category by MoHFW

The Ministry of health and family welfare (MoHFW) has given an official notice and has given a clarification to the students belonging from the category of Economically Weaker Sections (EWS). This EWS category will be put in force from the academic year 2019 to 2020 in field of Medical, Pharmacy, Nursing and Dental. All the necessary arrangements are asked to be implemented for EWS reservation.

NEET 2019

Any student who is not belonging to this category of beneficiary student is allowed to take the admission in the EWS category.

National Testing Agency (NTA) on 27^TH May, 2019 has decided to open up their window to provide the students to do the correction in few fields which is for category to category.

This window is developed so the students can do the required changes before the result of NEET, 2019 is reflected. As per the notice released by NEET, the EWS category candidate should have 50 percentile to qualify. So students already in EWS category need not make any sort of changes in the application form.

EWS category admission exceptions:

There are few institutions which are exempted from the EWS reservation, in that list there are eight institute which are in the schedule to the central educational institutions act.
The exact figure of increased seat will be clear by 31. 05. 2019. This b will be given to the students to the increased figures.
