IIM Lucknow the convenor of Common Admission Test has declared the much awaited CAT Result today. The CAT Result would be available in an online mode. The CAT Result has been announced in the form of percentile and the normalized scores.

The CAT Scorecard can be downloaded by the candidate by entering his credentials - CAT User ID and Password. Out of 20 candidates who have secured 100 percentile, 2 are female candidates and 3 are students from the non-engineering background. In the previous year, all 20 toppers were male and from the engineering background.
IIM Lucknow has sent a message to the registered mobile number of the test-taking candidates with details of the CAT Percentile scored. The CAT Percentile is usually calculated on the basis of normalization. The conducting body of CAT would not be sending a hard copy of the CAT Result declared. Candidates would be required to take a printout of the CAT Result achieved and reserve it until completion of the CAT Admission Procedure.
CAT Result cum Scorecard is valid only for a year, until December 31, 2018. Based on the CAT result, IIMs and other institutes shall shortlist candidates for the final selection procedure. Common Admission Test was held on November 26, 2017, in two sessions. About 1.9 Lakh candidates had appeared out of a total of 2.3 Lakh candidates who had registered for the examination.
