SSC CGL 2020 Exam started from 2nd March 2020 and several students have appeared in the examination. As per the recent report, the examinations conducted on 3rd and 4th March have been categorized in moderate to difficult difficulty level. In this article the analysis and review of the most awaited and sought-after examination i.e. SSC CGL Preliminary Exam 2020 (Tier-1) is described. The exam analysis and review of SSC CGL 2020 Exam would help students understand the difficulty level as well as type of questions being asked in the examination.
Many students have shared their feedback and experience of the SSC CGL Exam they took on 3rd and 4th March 2020. The examination analysis of 1st shift conducted on 4th March along with the type of questions asked in the examination are given here.

The examination conducted during this shift is considered Easy to Moderate level of difficulty. Since there are four sections the question paper of SSC CGL is divided into, the difficulty level of all the four sections varied from Easy to Moderate difficulty level.

The questions asked in Quantitative Aptitude section of SSC CGL 2020 Examination varied from easy to moderate difficulty level. Most of the questions asked in the examination were from Arithmetic Section and a few questions required complex calculations. These questions might have brought complexity while attempting the questions of Quantitative Aptitude section.

Second section of SSC CGL 2020 Exam question paper is Logical Reasoning and the difficulty level of the examination varied from Easy to Moderate level. The questions were asked from various logical reasoning topics such as Coding-Decoding, Odd One Out, Analogy, Syllogism, etc.

English Language Section is one of the easiest sections that students can attempt efficiently. It doesn’t take much time if the reading skills of appearing candidates is good and knowledge of English Grammar is sufficient. The difficulty level of English Language section is considered Moderate. One major change that was introduced in this question paper was there was no Reading Comprehension Passage instead there was one Cloze Test with 5 questions made from this cloze test paragraph.

Following were the two questions asked under Synonym and Idioms and Phrases topics:
The most unpredictable section of all other four sections is General Awareness section. Though the questions of this area were Easy to Moderate difficulty level, students who keep themselves updated with what is happening around them were able to answer the questions. The major focus of this year was completely kept on General Awareness and Current Affairs along with Sports, and Dance. Out of these areas, Current Affairs were given more importance and weightage.
