JIPMER 2020 Exam Pattern

According to the exam pattern of JIPMER MBBS, the examination slated to be conducted June 2, 2019, will be an online PC based entrance examination for over 2 hours. Characteristics of JIPMER MBBS Exam Pattern

  • Method of JIPMER MBBS Exam: JIPMER MBBS will be conducted in an online mode, i.e. it will be a PC based examination.
  • Duration and Shifts of Examination: JIPMER MBBS 2019 will be a 2.5-hour examination. It will be held in two shifts, i.e. morning and evening, from 10:00 A.M. to 12:30 P.M. for the morning shift and from 3:00 P.M. to 5:30 P.M. for the evening shift. Candidates of JIPMER MBBS would be divided among these two shifts.
  • The language of the Exam: JIPMER MBBS exam will be held in English as the medium of instruction. The question paper of JIPMER MBBS won't be in any other language apart from English.
  • Type of Questions in JIPMER MBBS: JIPMER MBBS will contain different decision questions. Each question will have four options, among which the right answer would be required to be selected by the candidate.
  •  Number of Questions: JIPMER MBBS will contain 200 questions altogether with questions asked from Physics, Chemistry, Biology, English, Quants and Reasoning.
  •  Marking Scheme of JIPMER MBBS 2019: According to the exam example of JIPMER, an applicant will be given 4 marks for each right answer, while no marks will be deducted for erroneous answers or questions for which responses are not given.
  •  Structure of JIPMER MBBS Question Paper: The question paper of JIPMER MBBS will comprise of 200 questions, with 60 questions each asked from Physics, Chemistry and Biology, while 10 questions each will be asked from English Comprehension, Logic and Quantitative Reasoning.
