Eligibility requirements for diploma holders

  • Candidates must have earned a diploma in the relevant branch from an AICTE-approved college or university with a minimum grade point average of 45 percent (40 percent for candidates from the reserved category).
  • Applicants for admission to Jadavpur Institution must have received an overall grade point average of 60 percent (45 percent for candidates from the restricted category) or an equivalent CGPA in the relevant branch from an AICTE-approved college or university.
  • There is no maximum age for those who possess diplomas.
 

Eligibility requirements for BSc holder candidates

  • Candidates must have earned a BSc with a 45 percent overall grade from an accredited institution (40 percent for reserved category)
  • Candidates need to have successfully completed Class 12 in Mathematics.
  • Candidates who were admitted must pass second-year studies in addition to engineering mechanics and engineering graphics/drawing.
  • Candidates with a BSc are ineligible for entrance to the pharmacy programme.
  • Candidates with a BSc degree are ineligible for admission to Jadavpur University.
