The WBJEE JELET 2023 exam is set to take place on June 10, 2023. WBJEEB will release the application form, as well as the essential exam dates. WBJEE JELET is an entrance exam for individuals who have completed a Diploma, B.Sc (Science & Technology), or D.Pharma and wish to enroll in programmes such as B.Tech, B.E., and B.Pharma in West Bengal in the second year.

WBJEE JELET Application Form 2023

The WB JELET 2023 application procedure will begin as soon as the notification is released on the official website. Candidates must submit the application form before the deadline in order to take the exam. The application process for both Engineering and Pharmacy courses is the same.

Step 1: You have to register with your documented name, mobile number, and email ID to create a new account to fill out the application form. The login credentials will be sent to the registered mobile number and Email Id. Use the credentials to log in.

Step 2: Fill up the application form with personal, academic, and contact information according to the official document.

Step 3: Candidates must submit scanned copies of their photo, signature, and left thumb impression. The image should have a clear backdrop and should focus on the subject's face.

WBJEE JELET 2023 Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for the Engineering and Pharmacy examinations in JELET 2023 differ depending on educational background and age. The rest of the criteria for admission to each course are the same. WBJEE JELET 2023 is an entrance exam for Engineering and Pharmacy institutes. Before applying for the exam, applicants must review the eligibility requirements given below: 

Nationality: The applicant must be an Indian citizen.

Age Limit: In general, there is no upper age limit for taking the JELET exam. However, as of December 31, 2023, the maximum age limit for B.Sc. candidates is 27 years, and for Diploma in Marine Engineering applicants it is 25 years.

Education Criteria: The educational requirements for applying to the programs provided by WBJEE JELET 2023 are listed below.

a.)  Pharmacy: Candidates must have completed a Diploma in Pharmacy from an AICTE-approved institution with a minimum of 45% (40% for SC/ST/OBC-A/OBC-B/PwD).

b.) Engineering / Technology: Candidates must have completed a Diploma in Engineering/Technology from an AICTE-approved institution with a minimum of 45% (40% for SC/ST/OBC-A/OBC-B/PwD). Candidates must have chosen mathematics as their primary subject in Class 12.

Academic Qualification

  • Aspirants with a B.Sc. or BE degree applying for admission to Engineering or Technology programmes must have completed class XII with Mathematics as a subject, as well as a B.Sc. or BE with a minimum of 45% marks from a UGC accredited university.
  • Aspirants with a diploma in Technology, Engineering, or Pharmacy who want to register for degree programmes through the JELET 2023 exam must have obtained 45% from an AICTE-accredited Polytechnic Institute or Pharmacy College/Institute.

WBJEE JELET 2023 Admit Card

The WBJEE Board will release the JELET 2023 admit card online for all candidates on its official website. Using the login credentials, candidates must download the admit card.

The steps are given below to download the JELET 2023 admit card:

Step 1: Visit the official website of WBJEE.

Step 2: Click on “JELET 2023 Admit Card”

Step 3: Log in with your credentials i.e; Registration Id, Username and Password

Step 4: The admit card will appear on the screen.

Step 5: Save and Take a print for future reference.

For each correct answer, 1 mark is allotted.

There is a deduction of 0.25 marks for each incorrect answer.

WBJEE JELET Result 2023

After the examination the results are declared in the form of a rank card. WBJEE JELET rank card shall carry details like relevant ranks and total scores. Candidates can download their rank cards by logging in with their passwords. Rank cards are issued to candidates who appeared in the examination.

Step 3:  Log in with your credentials i.e; Registration Id, Username and Password

Step 4: The result will be displayed on the screen in the form of a scorecard.

WBJEE JELET 2023 Counselling

WBJEEB will release a separate announcement on its official website with information on JELET 2023 Counselling/Seat Allotment and Admission immediately after the results are released. Only applicants who are eligible for the Counselling procedure will be permitted to participate. Candidates will be notified of their counseling schedule through email.

WBJEE JELET 2023 Cut off

The cut off score for the JELET exam varies per category. Students who pass the cut-off will be listed on the JELET 2023 merit list. The cut off score will be made public online and will include the opening and closing ranks of each participating school for the various courses offered.
