All India Institute of Medical Sciences, AIIMS has released the examination calendar for 2018. As per the official notification given on the website, the AIIMS MBBS Entrance Examination would be given on May 27, 2018. The dates for online release of application forms are not available. AIIMS MBBS Online Application would start from January 2018. AIIMS and JIPMER are two standalone MBBS Entrance examinations that are not under National Eligibility Entrance Test or NEET. Both the institutes are exempt and conduct their own entrance examination. The process for AIIMS Application is completely online. Candidates should have completed their Grade 12 or equivalent to appear for the examination in 2018.
The AIIMS MBBS Result would be declared by June 12th and the counseling for admissions should have started from 3rd July 2018 onwards. The AIIMS Counseling would be starting from September 4, 2018 onwards. If required, a case of open counseling on September 27, 2018 would also be conducted. The AIIMS Examination would be conducted across major cities in the country. Candidates would be required to fill and submit the AIIMS Application Form.
The tentative date for AIIMS MBBS Form would be January 2, 2018. However, these dates have been mentioned on a tentative basis and nothing is confirmed as of yet. AIIMS Delhi conducts the entrance examination to determine admissions to MBBS Courses all over 7 AIIMS in the country.
The AIIMS MBBS Examination would be conducted in two shifts in an online mode by means of a Computer Based Test. Candidates would be given a time of 3.5 hours to complete the examination having objective questions from Physics, Chemistry, Biology, General Knowledge, Aptitude and Logical thinking. Every question in the AIIMS Exam would have 4 options to choose from and the candidates would be required to choose the most appropriate answer out of the lot. The marking scheme for candidates is mentioned as below:
