Kalinga University, one of the premier institutions of teaching and research, commenced its establishment in the academic year of 2013. The university is located in Naya Raipur, Chhattisgarh. The university was established under the aegis of Chhattisgarh Private Universities (Establishment and Operations) Act 2005 – vide Gazette Notification S. No. 74 dated 25 March 2011. The main motive of the university is to provide a huge number of courses for the students, with high quality and creative understanding of the programs. By promoting the use of new technologies, bringing leadership and disciple in the students.
One of the most important features of the University is its participation in various associations. The university is a member of Association Indian Universities (AIU), Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FICCI), Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PHDCCI), and Indian Importers Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IICCI) etc.

Eligibility of Undergraduate Programs Offered at Kalinga University
Candidates seeking admission to B. A., B. Ed., B. Lib, Sc, and BSW must have passed senior secondary school in the relevant field securing at least 45% marks in aggregate (40% in case of SC/ST) from a recognized board.
Candidates seeking admission to the postgraduate programs offered by the university must possess a bachelor’s degree in the relevant field securing at least 45% marks in aggregate (40% marks in case of reserved categories) from a recognized university. These postgraduate programs include M. A., M. Lib. Sc., MSW, MJMC, MCA, M. Com, MBA, and PGDM Programs.
For admission toM. Tech, and M. Pharm, candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree in the relevant field securing at least 45% marks in aggregate (40% marks in case of reserved categories) from a recognized university.
For admission to diploma programs, candidates must have passed senior secondary school from a recognized board.
Admission at Kalinga University
Kalinga University Admission takes place based on candidates’ performance in the qualifying examinations. For admissions in undergraduate programs, the student must clear 10+2, with a recognized board with aggregate marks of 45%, post-graduate programs student needs to clear 10+2 and graduation with a recognized university with aggregate marks of 45%. Students belonging to OBC/ST/SC will get 5% marks relaxation during admission.
The documents required for admission to UG and PG programs are:
Required photocopy for UG & PG Program: 10th, 12th/Diploma, Graduation Mark Sheet, Caste (for category - OBC/ST/SC) and 4 Photos.
Original Documents required for UG & PG Program are: TC-CC of Last qualification and Migration of Last qualification.

Kaling University Admission 2021:
For admission to all UG,PG and PhD courses, candidates must have a valid Kalinga Scholastic Entrance Examination (KALSEE) score
KALSEE is a 90-minute Computer-Based Test (CBT) conducted by Pearson VUE (for Kalinga University) and is held in various cities across India and other countries
The application fee for KALSEE (PhD/MPhil) is Rs 2,000 and KALSEE (other courses) is Rs 1,000
Kalinga University Placements have seen a decent increase over the past few years. An individual placement cell is made specially to solve the problems of students and to guide them to get placed with the top recruiters. Leadership and entrepreneurial skills are made develop in students through regular seminars, lectures, mock interview practices, etc. to provide them a path.

Kalinga University offers scholarship on the tuition fee in below mentioned methods:
Candidates securing more than 90% marks in aggregate in class 12th will be offered scholarship of 75% of the tuition fee.
Candidates with 75% marks in aggregate in class 12th will be given scholarship of 50% if the tuition fee.
Candidates securing 60% to 75% marks in class 12th will be given scholarship of 25% of the tuition fee.
Candidates belonging to one of the categories SC/ ST/ Wards of Ex Serviceman/ OBC/ One of the siblings of students of Kalinga University will be given scholarship of 25% of the tuition fee.
Girl child and Physically handicapped students are also given a scholarship of 50% of the tuition fee.
