Placement: Chandigarh University has 100% placement record so far. Our department use to make sure that every student get internship and placement opportunities with one of the best industry players. Top travel and tourism companies use to come in the campus for placement drives.
Faculty: All are teachers were well qualified, experienced , knowledgeable,helpful as well. They taught us through presentations, lectures, video blogs. We use to have regular pop quizzes , activities, debates, assignments and all which assured regular studying.
College: I have done B.sc Tourism from UITHM department of Chandigarh University. They have one of the best teaching faculty , well designed curriculum , well equipped practical labs, great infrastructure,one of the most fun fests and events.
Exam: Our admission was done on the basis of our 12th marks. There was a proper counselling session-for admission where we were told about the curriculum, rules and regulations, events , exams etc

Placement: Chandigarh university would be better in this case because of its location near to Chandigarh city, which is the first city of India designed and pre planned , it will help architects and students to understand the master piece of architecture Chandigarh city.
Faculty: In our department all teachers are very friendly and helpful to all students.Unique thing is that we feel like a family .They councelled all the students at regular basis.
College: University Institute of Architecture is an esteemed institution in the field of architectural education in the region. We have the faculty team who has expertise in subjects like sustainable architecture, construction project management, urban planning, etc., all of which are areas of global concern.
Chandigarh University has a futuristic vision and endeavors to prepare core professionals in the field. UIA is fully equipped with latest infrastructure, advanced teaching equipment, updated laboratories and research facilities.
Exam: Eligibility Criteria : 10+2 with minimum 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and also 50% marks in aggregate of the 10+2 level exam.
OR
10+3 Diploma examination with Mathematics as compulsory subject with 50% aggregate marks and subject to an aptitude test in Architecture (NATA).
In addition to eligibility of 10+2/Diploma, he/ she must have obtained 40% pass marks in each subject of the JEE Part 2 exam OR Qualified NATA.
Post Graduation Eligibility Criteria : Minimum of 50% aggregate marks in a Bachelors of Architecture degree programme or Equivalent.

The Best is Here!
Placement: All students get placed in core and IT sector companies, with many students getting multiple offers. The highest packages in ECE Department were around 12LPA. The average package was around 4.5LPA.
Faculty: All my teachers were my favourite, they took extreme care in their teaching methodologies so that everyone was able to understand. they were well educated, doctorates and had substantial knowledge in not only their own subjects, but in the overall domain too.
College: ECE Department at Chandigarh University is the best place to be. High-quality, industry-oriented curriculum, Extremely qualified doctorate faculty with impeccable research record, industry-collaborated laboratories, world-class infrastructure, support for extracurriculars, engagement in sports, etc., are some of the highlights of ECE Department at Chandigarh University.
It was a memorable experience here, with young and energetic faculty, who had an amazing rapport with us students. The faculty here not only taught us the curricula, but also taught us the things that go beyond studies, they helped us shape as who we are today. Thanks to ECE Department at Chandigarh University, all of my friends and I were able to secure good placements, with many of my friends getting more than 7LPA packages in core ECE companies. Nonetheless, it was the best of both worlds here, hardware and software, and many of my friends were also placed in IT sector companies, with decent packages of average 4.5 LPA.
We took part in extracurriculars, and were duly supported by the ECE Department at Chandigarh University, in all aspects. We were always encouraged for more research and patents in our projects.
Besides these things about ECE Department at Chandigarh University, the Chandigarh University in itself, was complete in itself, providing us ample recreational opportunities in form of technical and non-technical fests and events. I loved all the star nights we witnessed in the University. Further, the food of the different cafeterias and food joints in CHandigarh University was amazing, in terms of taste, quality and hygiene.
In all, I loved everything here, even the ocasional strictness by the administration and the teachers, because that really helped us mould into what we are today.
ECE Department at Chandigarh University is a highly recommended program!
Exam: I got freeship by appearing for CUCET exam.

Really a good University focusing on students’ overall development.
Placement: I am still in 3rd year, so haven’t done any internships yet. An ample of companies hire from our campus namely Microsoft, Wipro, TCS, Boeing, Capgemini, etc. Highest package offered was about 35 lacs and in our course was 5 lacs and average is 4.5 lacs per annum.
Alumni network is very strong and impressive.
Faculty: My favourite teacher is Mr. Sourav Sir. He is an Assistant Professor in the department of Aerospace. Teaching method opted by him is very easy to remember and almost every student attends his class as its very interesting. Methods are used such as projectors, ppts, videos, and interactive sessions.
College: I am a student of Aerospace Engineering 3rd year in Chandigarh University. Admission was done on the basis of class 12th percentage and eligibility was of above 70%. There was no such great procedure, just filling my prospectus and submitting it to the admission cell. There were no entrance exams as well.
My course fee is 74000/- per semester for our year. For freshers it’s 85000/- per semester.
Scholarships are available on the basis of CUCAT and SGPA. Also scholarship for child of defence ward and for minorities are available.
A lot of students get scholarships.
Loans are easily available too.
Daily routine is very disciplined. Classes starts exactly on 9.30 a.m. every working day and assignments are given twice or thrice in a semester, they are useful in preparing our exams also.
Quality of teaching is superb. Every class has a projector.
Overall experience is too good.
There are a number of student clubs for every department and they are very impressive.
Main festivals on campus includes Tech fest, CU-fest, sports meet and various other programs are there also such as 9x tashan nights or singing performances.
Life in college is awesome. Really love it.

The heart snatching quality about this university is it’s amazing infrastructure and a huge long campus of around 120 acres, full of greenery and attractive sculptures. Every thing which is required in college is easily available inside the campus only. Students need not to run here and there. Unlimited food outlets with vairities of food and snacks are easily available for everyone. Chandigarh University also have sports stadium, which compromises of every sport field and equipments, exclusively for the state and national level sports person studying in this university, helping them to unleash their potential. Also having other sports courts on various sites in open ground so that students can enjoy their youth and helping them to remain fit and healthy. Chandigarh University also organizes various big and small events throughout the year, which gives golden chances for students to explore their skills, including TECH EVENT, TASHAN NIGHTS, RED MIRCHI FM open mic, etc. Now coming towards the educational side of this university. CU offers eco-friendly paperless study through it’s online CUIMS portal. Teaching classes are having best infrastructure, also equipped with projectors in each and every class so that student can learn better through visualization. Particularly talking about HM, Block-2 UITHM (University Institute of Tourism and Hospitality Management) is there for the studies related HM.
