College: Being an ex Student of this University , I could proudly and confidently say that it’s one of the best premier universities in the country which apart from imparting quality education also ensures all round development of the students. Huge efforts are taken by the management to ensure good Placement on and off the campus.
Exam: 50% in Graduation is required for PGDM and for all other UG courses 60% in class 12 is required. The university also conducts DAT exam for students seeking admission in UID and KUAT exams for other UG courses

Ms. Preeti Das is the Additional Director of the Unitedworld School of Liberal Arts and Mass Communication at Karnavati University. She teaches Gender Studies, Media and Culture and Journalism at Karnavati University. She has over 16 years of work experience in the field of media. Her experience includes working with television and print as a journalist, a radio jockey and program producer, head of Communication and Information for the tsunami project in India and Sri Lanka for Action Aid International, qualitative researcher and a teacher.ÂÂ
Aaj Tak and Headlines Today, ActionAid International, Quantum Market Research, Radio Mirchi, MYFM ,CEPT, St. Xaviers College, PDPU, DNA ,Indian Express are a few organizations she has been associated with .
As a print journalist with the DNA and the Indian Express Preeti has focused on health reporting, crime against women and children and politics.ÂÂ
She was awarded 2 Ladlee Media award- National and then South Asia level for investigative journalism in India (2015-2016) for her series of stories on documenting the lives of gang rape survivors and for missing toilets and rapes .
Preeti continues to work as a free lance journalist .Preeti is the co founder of Mahila Manch- an Ahmedabad based performance space which uses stand up comedy to talk about various issues . Mahila Manch has been ranked as one of the top 5 talents to watch out for in India by the Women’s Web.
Placement: KU offers a 3 tier placement facility along with internships at - Regional, Zonal and International. Average placement package is 6 lacs . Highest is 16 lacs per annum.so far. 90 percent of the students are placed successfully. We had beautiful pre placement training and soft skill training roght from day one. Some of the major companies offering placements are ITC, PwC, NESTLE, MRF, DABUR, JK TYRE, GODREJ, BYJU’S, RECKITT BENCKISER, INDUSIND, KOTAK MAHINDRA, AXIS, KHAITAN, PARLE, AMAZON, SNAPDEAL, EMAMI, ASIAN PAINTS, Colgate SP.
College: Karnavati University is approved by UGC and is located at Uvarsad, Gandhinagar, Gujarat. The University is offering UG and PG courses in Dentistry, Design, Law, Liberal Arts and Mass Communication and Management.
For admission into UG programs, a candidate must have 60% above marks in Class 12. For Dentistry, one has to appear in NEET exam. For Design, one has to appear in the DAT exam. For other UG courses, a candidate has to appear for KUAT exam. For PGDM, a candidate having a valid CAT/MAT score will have to appear for a GDPI process.
I passed out in 2018 as a PGDM student of Unitedworld School of Business which is a part of the Karnavati University group and campus. I had to show my valid CAT score and had to successfully accomplish through the GDPI process to get an admission.
The Institute met my expectations and I got a decent placement. For PGDM, we had more than 30 faculty members.
Overall there are more than 200 faculty members in our University. All these faculty resources are having on average10 years of academic experience with adequate industry exposure. All are Master Degree holders with a PhD. They taught us very well.
We had a 3 tier placement facility - Regional, Zonal and International.
Average placement package is 6 lacs. Highest is 16 lacs per annum. so far. 90 per cent of the students are placed successfully.

Apart from digital classrooms, Central libraries, 18 workshops, Digital Communication labs and studios, 500 seater auditorium, there is a world-class gym. and a parlour, a football and cricket ground with 8 floodlight stands, a 500 seater AC cafeteria, freakout fast food zones, a DJ and basketball ground, a temple and what not.
The campus life is very festive with festivals like Lohri, Pongal, Navratri, Durgotsav, Ganesh Chaturthi, Holi, Kite festivals happening every year. The students and the staffs organise Karnavati Premiere league for football and cricket. Big events like the annual fest Viaje, Ahmedabad Design week and Youth Parliament happens every year. Overall, an amazing camous life waiting for the students.
