NEET PG Exam postponed? NExT Exam on hold for 2024

As per reports, the NEET PG Exam is to be held on March 3, 2024. NBE has not yet announced the official registration date. Reports claim that the exam is shifted to the first week of July and counselling shall begin in August. No official notice has been issued for the same yet!

Is the NEET PG 2024 Exam Postponed?

As per the official notice that was issued by NBE, the NEET PG Exam 2024, is scheduled for 3rd March 2024. However, some reports are stating that the exam for this year has been postponed and is likely to be conducted in the first week of July. Since there is no official update regarding this by NBE, the students are advised to continue with their preparation and not bother about the date as of now.

NExT Exam - An Overview

The National Exit Test or NExt is a postgraduate medical exam designed with a two-way purpose. The NExt exam will act as a qualifying examination for final-year MBBS Students and a licensure examination for Indian Healthcare practitioners who are willing to practice modern medicine. The main objective of this exam is to develop uniformity and efficiency in the assessment process for all Indian medical professions.

NExT Exam 2024 on hold

Reports state that the NExt exam will replace the NEET PG Examination. However, the National Exit Test (NExt) has been kept on hold this year, and the NEET PG Examination will continue till NExt examination is implemented and comes into force.
