UPTET 2018: Registration Process Started On Official Website upbeb.org

For the aspirants waiting for application procedure of UPTET 2018 to start, the wait is finally over as the registration process has been started on the official website of The Uttar Pradesh Teacher's Eligibility Test. The candidate who is eligible and wishes to fill the application form can visit upbasiceduboard.gov.in and complete the application form. The last date of registration is scheduled for October 2, 2018. All the process of selection exam will be conducted by the Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Board (UPBEB).

UPTEt 2018 Registartion Started The final exam is scheduled to take place on in two sessions on 28 October. Part 1 of the exam will be in the morning session to be conducted between 10 am to 12.30 am and is reserved for the candidates appearing for the 'Primary' level exam. The part 2 of UPTET 2018, which is an afternoon session reserved for the candidates appearing for 'Upper Primary' level exam and will be conducted between 2.30 pm to 5 pm.

The whole registration process is divided into 4 major steps as mentioned below:

  • Online registration
  • Payment of registration fees
  • Uploading documents
  • Downloading the confirmation page. 

Aspirants can follow the below mentioned steps to complete the registration process:

  • Visit the official website and fill the mandatory fields with details like personal and qualification details. Chose the examination centre.
  • Submit the details and go to payment section, the candidate can make online payment requisite registration fee via credit or debit card or candidate can also use offline mode by e-challan from SBI bank.
  • Upload all the required documents in the necessary fields and complete the application form. Before submitting the application check thoroughly the entire application form to check the authenticity of the information provided.
  • A candidate who is applying for both the papers need to feel separate application forms and need to pay the registration fee for individual applications.

The candidate who is appearing for UPTET 2018 should note that providing the correct information is very important while filling the application form in case there is a mismatch in the information application will be rejected and the application fee will not be refunded.

Once the registration is the complete candidate will have to prepare accordingly for the final exam as the time left is very less. Keep a sound knowledge of exam pattern and syllabus to prepare accordingly and score well in the exam. The candidate will have to achieve the cutoffs to qualify the exam and to be awarded UPTET Certificate, which is valid for 5 years.

Aspirants should have to fill the OMR sheets very carefully while giving the exam as any mistake in the same will lead to non-evaluation of the answer sheet. In January, the Allahabad High court rejected many petitions by applicants of UPTET 2017 to even evaluate their answer sheets due to wrongly filled OMR sheet. Notwithstanding, the court dismissed the appeal of expressing that there were clear guidelines in the examination booklet asking candidates to fill the OMR answer sheet correctly.
