LSAT India 2020 – The Law School Admission Council has issued a notice lately and as per the latest official notice released by it, the last date to apply for Law School Admission Test which is commonly known as LSAT India has been extended until 7th June 2020. LSAC is the examination conducting authority of LSAT which conducts the exam across various cities in the country. The decision has been taken due to the COVID-19 lockdown being extended until 31st May 2020. Interested candidates can still register themselves for the exam by visiting the official website i.e. discoverlaw.in and log in by registering their details. The Law School Admission Council (LSAC) issued an official notice stating the extension of last date of application on its official website and notified Law Aspirants.

The outbreak of Coronavirus across the country has led to postponement of various entrance examinations and state board exams along with shut down of educational institutions including schools, colleges, and universities.

The authorities witnessed a strong interest of candidates to become a part of online LSAT India 2020 Exam, which in turn became the reason for authorities to extend the last date to apply for the exam. Previously, another official notice was released by LSAC which cleared the doubts of examination date by declaring the date of LSAT 2020. The exam is scheduled to be conducted on 14th June 2020. The Vice President of LSAC, Yusuf, Abdul-Kareem, said:
“We’ve seen very strong interest in our online June LSAT—India exam that students can take in the safety of their own homes.”
LSAT India 2020 Exam Mode
LSAT India 2020 was usually conducted through offline mode, but this year the authorities have decided to give exam though online mode. The council recently announced, in one of its official notices, that the entrance examination conducted for admission to Law Schools will be held through online mode across the country. This is going to be the first time that the exam will be conducted through online mode. This decision is unquestionably taken in the view of current situation of COVID-19 outbreak. This would help the prevent the spread of Coronavirus and maintain social distance amongst students.
LSAT India 2020 is scheduled to be held on 14th June 2020
The council decided to conduct the exam in online mode while abiding the rules of lockdown imposed by the Indian government. The exam will now be held with the aid of AI Assisted (Artificial Intelligence Assisted) technology while ensuring the integrity and validity of the exam.
