JEE Advanced 2019: IIT Roorkee announced exam dates @jeeadv.ac.in

The wait is finally over for thousands of aspirants who have qualified JEE Mains 2019 and was waiting for IIT Roorkee to make the big announcement. Joint Admission Board (JAB) has finally shared the glimpse of examination date on its official website jeeadv.ac.in with a message saying “The JEE (Advanced) 2019 will be held on Sunday, May 19, 2019.”

As this year was about a lot of changes in the education world, especially for the popular engineering examinations like JEE Main and JEE Advanced after the introduction of National Testing Agency (NTA). JEE Mains 2019 which was earlier used to be conducted just once in the month of April has to be changed this year. The exam is scheduled to be conducted in two sessions this year and the first session has already been completed in the month of January and the next session is scheduled to be conducted in the month of April.

Candidates selected on basis of merit from both the sessions of JEE Mains 2019 will be able to apply for JEE Advanced 2019. The examination will be conducted in just two seating and will be fully based on computer-based test mode. JEE Advanced Application Process will start after completion of the second session of JEE Main 2019.

Institutes Participating in JEE Advanced 2019:

The exam is being conducted by IIT Roorkee in association with Joint Admission Board (JAB) and the candidate will be selected on basis of their ranks scored in the examination as well as category reservation mandated by the government of India. Aspirants should note that it is not possible to apply for IIT Advanced examination before qualifying Joint Engineering Entrance Mains, so those who still have not completed the registration process for the upcoming session of the examination can visit jeemain.nic.in and complete the JEE Mains 2019 Application Procedure before March 7, 2019.
