IIFT 2019: GD and PI starting from February 11

The result of IIFT 2019 has already been declared earlier last month and candidates were waiting for the final scorecard. The wait is over for these candidates as IIFT 2019 Scorecard is available on the official website of IIFT i.e. tedu.iift.ac.in. Candidates who have appeared for the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) MBA entrance examination conducted on December 02, 2018 can visit the official website and download the scorecard.

Earlier IIFT has released the list of only candidates who were selected for the next round of IIFT Selection Process, but now the scorecard for all the students appeared for the examination is available on the website. To download the scorecard candidate needs to enter the 7 digit roll number followed by the date of birth entered at the time of registration.

IIFT Scorecard:

Candidates can get details of sectional cut off and total marks obtained in respective sections from the IIFT 2019 scorecard. Candidates need to achieve the overall sectional cut off to be eligible for next round of selection process. There are changes in the overall sectional cut off of IIFT this year, for candidates applying under general and SC category the cut off is slightly higher from last year.

IIFT Cut Off:

In the revised cutoff of IIFT for the academic session of 2019-21 the cutoff for General category students is 32.25, for SC category candidates the overall cut off is 22.25 similarly for ST, PH, and OBC (NCL) the overall cutoff is 20.26,22.25 and 27.25 respectively.

IIFT Selection Process

It is must to have a print out of the result for the candidates selected for next round of IIFT counseling process. Also, the candidate needs to carry original academic certificates along with IIFT Admit Card and Result at the time of Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI). Candidates will also be intimidated by email with the complete list of documents to bring along.

Candidates who are selected for the next round had already received the CV form on their registered email ids. The interview process is scheduled to be conducted from February 11 to February 24, 2019, at centers located in Delhi, Kolkata, Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Lucknow, and Mumbai.

Filling the genuine details in the CV is very important as the same needs to be explained at the time of Interview. The CV focus on the details of candidates Career Focus and Material Traits. There is word limit of 100 words per answer in the CV and should not exceed. The questions asked during the interview may be on the academic backgrounds, answers written in CV, work experience etc.

Personal Interview is the final round of selection process, the candidate needs to appear for Written Ability Test (WAT) and Group Discussion (GD) for IIFT Admission. Topics covered under WAT includes knowledge-based questions, abstracts, and questions to test general knowledge. The word limit of the answer depends on the section of the question. For Group Discussion candidates will be put in a group of 8-10 people and a limited time will be given to the group to discuss a particular topic. Candidates will be devaluated o basis of understanding, communication skills, the presence of mind and leadership quality.

The final result of selected candidates will be released latest by last week of March to the first week of April. Selected candidates will receive the final offer letter on their registered email id. Candidates will be selected for both the IIFT Campuses i.e. IIFT Delhi and IIFT Kolkata.
