IBSAT: Know how the exam was

IBSAT had 140 questions that had to be done in a time span of 2 hours, distributed across 4 sections without any sectional cut-off and no sectional time limit in this exam. Each question carried 1 mark.
The Sectional Breakup is as mentioned below:

Verbal Ability
Verbal ability section of IBSAT had predominantly easy questions. Vocabulary questions were slightly tough, but the grammar section was relatively easier.
Reading Comprehension
There were 2 passages with 8 questions each and two passage with 5 and 9 questions respectively. The passages on an average had something between 500- 600 words. While some questions were direct and factual, some required students to draw inferences and then answer.
Quantitative Ability
The Quantitative Ability section has a good mixture of problems including arithmetic, geometry and analytical geometry. The questions were framed on speed, distance and time, ratio proportion, work problems, heights, progressions, probability, percentages, etc.
Data Adequacy and Data Interpretation
The Data Interpretation section was focused strongly on data adequacy and logical thinking. The paper had questions on pi graphs, line graphs etc. Few other questions were on percentage change, ratio between two values, etc.
