IBSAT Latest Updates: The IBSAT Exam Date has been released by IBS Hyderabad. The exam is scheduled to be conducted on 23 and 24 December 2023. The registration for IBSAT 2023 started on July 1, 2023, and the deadline for submitting application forms has been extended from December 26 to December 20, 2023.
The IBS Aptitude Test, abbreviated as IBSAT, is a nationwide entrance examination organized by the ICFAI Foundation for Higher Education (deemed to be University). It serves as the gateway for admission to MBA/PGPM programs. IBSAT scores are recognized by nine ICFAI Business Schools (IBS) situated in various cities, including IBS Hyderabad, IBS Mumbai, IBS Bengaluru, IBS Pune, IBS Gurgaon, IBS Kolkata, IBS Ahmedabad, IBS Jaipur, and IBS Dehradun. IBSAT is a two-hour computer-based test (CBT) featuring multiple-choice questions. Typically, IBSAT is conducted over a two-day window in December. Successful candidates are required to participate in a selection briefing round initially, followed by the final selection stages that encompass Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI) rounds.

The IBSAT 2023 admit card is anticipated to be released during the third week of December. Candidates who have reserved their exam slots online will have the opportunity to download the admit card shortly thereafter. The hall ticket is a crucial document that must be presented on the day of the exam. Failure to produce it may result in candidates being unable to take the test. IBSAT 2023 is expected to be conducted in a home-proctored mode. Therefore, candidates will be required to display the hardcopy of the admit card to the invigilator via their web camera. Students who have successfully completed the registration process are expected to receive their IBSAT Admit Card tentatively by the third week of December 2023.

The IBSAT exam is held twice a year, offering candidates the flexibility to choose their preferred exam slot within a two-day window.
The IBSAT exam takes place during the final week of December. Nevertheless, starting from 2021, the exam has been held twice, with the Phase 2 examination anticipated to occur in February.
Certain candidates are exempted from the requirement of taking the IBSAT exam and are directly invited to participate in the IBSAT Group Discussion and Personal Interview stages. To qualify for this exemption, candidates must possess a valid score in one of the following examinations: CAT, GMAT, NMAT by GMAC, or XAT.
In IBSAT 2023, there will be a total of 140 questions, and no marks will be deducted for incorrect responses. Candidates will receive 1 mark for each correct answer.
