AIIMS Admission 2019: 400 MBBS Seats to be added at New and Existing AIIMS

According to the prospectus released by AIIMS New Delhi, the All India Institutes of Medical Sciences have added 400 MBBS seats which include 300 seats allotted for the newly established institutes. Remaining 100 seats have been added to AIIMS Guntur and AIIMS Nagpur. The prospectus also details regarding AIIMS MBBS 2019 examination including the pattern of the question paper, declaration of result, counselling details and AIIMS selection procedure.

AIIMS 2019

The prospectus notifies that from the academic year 2019-2020, six new branches of AIIMS will be established across the country which includes AIIMS Kalyani, Raebareli, Gorakhpur, Bathinda, Deogarh and Bibinagar. Each new institute will be offering 50 seats for admission in Under Graduate Medical Courses.

Other MBBS Seats Related Information:

These 400 seats include 51 seats for Unreserved category, 27 seats for OBC category, 15 seats for SC category, 7 seats for ST category. 5% of the total seats will be reserved for the candidates of PwD (Persons with Disabilities) category.

About AIIMS MBBS 2019:

AIIMS 2019 is scheduled to be conducted on May 25 and 26, 2019, by AIIMS, New Delhi. The examination will be providing admission to a total number of 1207 Under Graduate Medical Seats offered by 15 AIIMS.
