The cutoff score is the lowest possible score a candidate must secure to qualify the entrance examination. The cutoff is based on multiple aspects like - number of candidates, seats, marking scheme and difficulty level. According to the information brochure of AIIMS, a candidate who belongs to the general category would have to secure a minimum of 50% and candidate belonging to SC/ST Category would have to obtain a minimum of 40%.
Based on the qualifying marks in AIIMS, a merit list would be declared consisting of candidate's name, AIR, and Date of birth.

AIIMS MBBS 2018 will be held in two shifts, specifically, morning and afternoon shifts, over two days and question papers are required to be utilized for each of the four shifts.
