The Karnataka Private Post Graduate Colleges Association (KPPGCA) had announced the KMAT 2023 exam dates. As per the schedule mentioned on the official KMAT website, kmatindia.com, KMAT registration 2023 began from June 30 in online mode. Interested and eligible candidates can fill the KMAT application form until August 31, 2023.
The KMAT exam for 2023 was scheduled to be conducted in September. This year, the KMAT entrance test was held as an online remote proctored test. However, the dates for the KMAT 2023 admit card and the KMAT 2023 mock test were yet to be announced at that time.
To be eligible for KMAT 2023, candidates were required to have completed graduation with a minimum aggregate of 50%. The purpose of conducting the KMAT exam in 2023 was to admit candidates to more than 189 institutes offering MBA and MCA courses in Karnataka. It's worth noting that KMAT was first conducted in the year 2003.
After the KMAT exam was conducted, candidates who secured equal to or more than the KMAT exam cutoff were called for the selection procedure. Each participating institute released an individual cutoff and a list of selected candidates.
Following the KMAT selection process in 2023, a final merit list was prepared, containing the names of students who matched the cutoff and were selected for the further selection process, which included the GD/PI round. The candidates were required to visit the counselling centre as per the schedule, where the GD/PI rounds were held.
Based on the KMAT 2023 score and GD/PI scores, a final merit list of selected candidates was declared, and they were called for document verification. The qualified candidates were then offered final admission in KMAT colleges, and the list contained the names of the shortlisted candidates.
