Karnataka Private Post Graduate College's Association(KPPGCA) has announced the KMAT 2019 application form on its official website kmatindia.com . All candidates must check the KMAT eligibility criteria before filling the KMAT Karnataka application form. The last date for applying for KMAT Karnataka 2019 online is July 10, 2019 and the application fee is INR 826. KMAT 2019 application form can be filled both online and offline mode. KMAT 2019 exam will be a paper-pen based test.

Steps to fill KMAT Karnataka Application Form 2019 in Online Mode

Step 1: Go to the official website : kmatindia.com

Step 2: Fill all details such as Name, DOB, Qualification details etc

Step 3: Upload the scanned photograph and signature

Step 4: Payment can be made online via Debit/Credit/Netbanking etc

Step 5: After submitting, take a printout of application form for future use.

Steps to fill KMAT Karnataka Application Form 2019 in Offline Mode

Step 1: Visit the official website of KMAT: kmatindia.com . Choose offline registration mode and download the KMAT application form

Step 2: After taking a printout of an application form, candidates may fill all details such as Name, DOB, Qualification details etc.

Step 3: Paste a passport size photo and sign on the space provided.

Step 4: Exam fee can be paid via demand draft of Rs 800 in favour of “KMAT 2019” and amount can be prepared any nationalized bank.

Step 5: Take a photocopy of DD and application form for the acknowledgement.

Eligibility for KMAT 2019 for MBA/PGDM

Bachelors degree with minimum 3 years duration/ Masters degree examination of any recognized education body in Commerce, Management, Arts, Social Sciences, Engineering/ Technology or equivalent, and have secured at least 50% of marks in the aggregate (45% for SC/ST candidate). Candidates in their final year of bachelor's degree are also eligible.

Exam Pattern

Paper Pen based test with 120 Multiple Choice Questions divided in three sections. KMAT 2019 is proposed to be conducted with moderate level of difficulty without creating confusion in paper-pencil mode. The exam will have MCQs only. Section wise syllabus for KMAT 2019 is as follows-

Verbal Ability & Reading Comprehension

English language ability would be tested through questions on Grammar, vocabulary, sentence completion, synonyms, antonyms, comprehension of passages etc. There would be questions on understanding of the contents of the passages and choice of appropriate words, phrases, expressions and similar language skills. This shall include the passages with questions based on their contents to test comprehension.

Logical and Abstract Reasoning

This shall include questions to measure how quickly and accurately you can think. The section may have questions in sets as well individual ones based on Verbal Reasoning, analogy among others.

Quantitative Ability

The questions in this section will be of matriculation standard. This shall include questions to know how fast and accurate you can work with numbers, do numerical calculations, understand various arithmetic problems involving ratio & proportion, percentage, interest, time & speed etc. Apart from Arithmetic, the questions may also be based on Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry and parts of mathematics. This test also helps to measure your power of quantitative reasoning, interpretation of tables, common graphs & charts.

About KMAT 2019

KMAT is conducted for candidates are aspiring to pursue MBA from the participating B-schools in Karnataka. KMAT 2019 is an All India exam that will be held in more than 10 cities all across the country and is open to candidates from all parts of India and Abroad. KMAT is the gateway to more than 169 + AICTE-approved University-affiliated B-schools in Bangalore and Karnataka. KMAT Karnataka will be conducted on July 21, 2019 (Tentative) in offline mode. KMAT 2019 Test will have a time duration of 2 hours. KPPGCA believes that single testing session with same difficulty level will provide level playing field to all the test takers without any discrimination.

The test is conducted by both Kerela and Karnataka for the MBA admission to their respective states. The KMAT Kerala is conducted by Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT) and the registration for June session is currently ongoing. The KMAT Karnataka is conducted by KPPGCA for the PG admission.
