What is TISSNET ?

A university-level test called TISSNET 2023 is given by the Tata Institute of Social Science (TISS). The TISS offers a number of Master's degree programmes, including the M.Sc., MHA, MPH, and MA. Candidates will be offered admission through TISSNET to a variety of programmes provided by TISS Institutions.

The TISS in Mumbai was established in 1936. It is the first school of social work in India. TISS was a pioneering effort, characteristic of the Sir Dorabji Tata Trust (SDTT).It was earlier known as Sir Dorabji Tata Graduate School of Social Work but it was renamed as the Tata Institute of Social Sciences in the year of 1944. The year 1964 was an important landmark in the history of the Institute, when it was recognized as a Deemed University by the University Grants Commission (UGC) of India.

TISSNET 2023 Application Form

  • The second week of December 2022 will see the release of the TISSNET 2023 application form.
  • Candidates will be able to submit their applications online. No other method of submitting the form will be accepted.
  • The candidate must fill out all personal and educational information, present all required documents, and make payment in order to submit the application.
  • Only qualified applicants will have their application forms accepted, thus potential applicants must review the requirements before beginning.
  • Candidates must be careful when filling out the application because any wrong information could result in rejection.
  • The application form must be submitted by the second week of February 2023.
  • After completing the application, candidates must print it off for their records.

Below are the steps to fill out an application of TISSNET 2023:

  • View the URL for the official webpage.
  • Select "Registration and Application" from the list of links.
  • Click the "Submit" button after filling out all of the registration information.
  • The user ID and password will be sent to the registered email address or mobile number.
  • Click the "Login" button after entering your login information.
  • Add more information, such as the basic or qualifying exam, the exam location, etc.
  • Upload the scanned copies of your ID, signature, and certification (if applicable).
  • Select "Continue to Payment" from the menu now.
  • You can pay the application cost offline or online.
  • The application will be examined after being submitted.
  • After two days after application submission, check the status.
  • Take a printout of the application once it has been approved so you can use it later.

TISSNET 2023 Eligibility Criteria

Check the following for TISSNET 2023 eligibility requirements:

Qualifications: Candidates must have completed a formal education that lasted 15 years from a recognised board in any programme of study.

Age Limitations: TISSNET 2023 will not have any age restrictions.

Candidates who are taking the last exam to fulfil a requirement may also apply, but they must finish it before September 30, 2023.

TISSNET 2023 Admit Card

The third week of February 2023 will see the publication of the TISSNET 2023 Admit Card. Online access to the Hall Ticet will be available. Candidates can access their admit cards by logging in with their email address and password. All exam-related information, including candidates' names, roll numbers, exam dates, times, locations, and instructions, are listed on the admit card. For future use, candidates must download and print their admit cards. Candidates will need to bring an ID card and their admit card into the exam room.

Step 2:Click the download link (Download TISSNET 2023 admit card).

Step 3: The link will reroute to the candidate login page.

Step 4: Enter the user ID, password, and captcha code that the website requests.

Step 7: Print the pdf for upcoming needs.

Candidates having a bachelor's degree with minimum of 3 years duration or its equivalent ( under the 10+2+3 or 10+2+4 or 10+2+2+1 year bridge course pattern of study or any other pattern fulfilling the mandatory requirements of 15 years formal education) from a recognized university are eligible to apply

TISSNET 2023 Application Procedure

Candidates can apply for a maximum of 3 programmes across 2 of the TISS Campuses.

They have to upload the documents or certificates while filling the application form.

A candidate can apply for multiple programmes in a single form. If a candidate fills more than one form, all applications stand cancelled.

TISSNET 2023 Selection Procedure

Candidates have to apply through the online application form only. Following are the steps involved in filling up the form:
The candidate has to register with an emailid. The candidate will be sent a password which is to be used to login and fill the online form. After login candidates have to fill in their basic details, academic details and have to mention the programmes they wish to apply for in the order of preference. Pay the application fee (depending on number of programmes applied) either by depositing cash in any branch of SBI or through Credit card/ Debit Card/ Net Banking and Scan and upload photograph, signature, marksheet of last exam passed and other necessary certificates.
