VITEEE 2019: Application process starting from November 1 by VIT University at vit.ac.in

VIT Vellore has released an official notification regarding the dates for entrance examination VITEEE 2019 recently. The application procedure is scheduled to start from November 1, 2018, and aspirants can visit the official website of VITEEE i.e. vit.ac.in for registration.
VITEEE is the annual exam conducted by Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT Vellore) for admission in various streams of engineering offered under the B.Tech course of the Undergraduate programme at all the campuses of VIT. To make the application procedure simpler for the candidates VITEEE 2019 Application form will be available in both online as well as offline mode. Earlier in this month, a tentative schedule of VITEEE 2019 was released to make students aware about the upcoming examination.
VITEEE 2019 application fee, if applying online is set to be Rs. 1150. In case candidate applying through offline mode, the application fee is Rs. 1200. Candidate preferred to choose an offline application mode should note that the offline application form as OMR sheets will be available on the selected post offices along with all the VIT campuses across country i.e. VIT Vellore Campus, VIT Chennai, VIT Amaravati and VIT Bhopal. List of all the post offices were candidates can get the application form will be released by the authorities on the vit.ac.in soon.
VITEEE 2019 is scheduled to be conducted in the 2nd to 3rd week of the April, as of now no certain date for the examination is available. Candidates can strong their preparation game by taking the VITEEE Mock Test which is scheduled to start from the 1st week of January 2019. Taking the mock test is important in order to understand the exam pattern and make a strategy for the main examination. Candidates should also note that the last date of VITEEE 2019 application is last week of February and it is suggested to not to wait till the last day for registration and get it done well in advance. VITEEE 2019 Admit card will be available one month before the examination and candidate can get the same on vit.ac.in the official website for VITEEE. The counselling process is scheduled to be conducted from 2nd to 3rd week of May 2019 just after the release of VITEEE 2019 Result.
VITEEE 2019 is conducted in computer-based online mode and the total number of questions asked is 125. The questions will be Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ). The exam will be conducted in 3 sessions per day within the scheduled time and considering the last year exam pattern it is assumed that the sessions will be conducted between 09:00 am to 11:30 am, 12:30 pm to 03:00 pm and 04:00 pm to 6:30 pm.
Key points of VITEEE 2019 Application:
Candidates aspiring to take the examination should follow these guidelines as mandated by VIT to make sure the application form is accepted.
- It is important to upload the correct documents in the application form and make sure the photo uploaded should be a recent coloured photo. The image size should be between 10 to 200kb and in jpeg/jpg formats.
- The signature should also be between 10kb to 200 kb within the dimension of 1.5 cm to 3.5 cm.
- Payment done by online mode can be done by internet banking, debit and credit card.
