VITEEE 2019: Tentative schedule released at official website vit.ac.in

VITEEE is the gateway for taking admission in VIT University, one of the most sought after institute among students. Vellore Institute of Technology recently released a notification on its official website vit.ac.in regarding exam schedule for VITEEE 2019.
The university in the notification highlighted that it will release the application forms for the mentioned examination from November 1, 2018. Candidates can visit the official website to fill the application form once it is available. For making it more convenient for some of the students the form will also be available offline. The application fee set for the form is Rs 1200. Candidates who are planning to fill the application form offline should note that the offline application forms will be available only in some selected post offices and a list of which will be released soon by the university. The forms are also available in all the VIT Campuses.
Currently, only a tentative date is available for the examination and it should be taken into consideration that the dates may change depending on various criteria. However, according to the tentative dates announced by the university, the process of application filing which needs to create login credentials using email id and mobile number by the students will start from November 2018. A window for making corrections in the application form will be open till February 2019 for the candidates to make any changes if required (except mobile number/email id and address corrections). The process of slot booking and availability of admit card will start in the month of March 2019 tentatively. The entrance exam is scheduled to be conducted in the month of April followed by the declaration of the results at the end of April 2019.
VITEEE or VIT Engineering Entrance Examination, conducted every year is a common entrance examination, which opens the door for admissions to various courses offered all the campus of the University and includes VIT Vellore, Chennai, VIT Bhopal and VIT Andhra Pradesh.
Candidates whose date of birth falls on or after first July 1997 are qualified to apply for VITEEE 2019. Applicants appeared for PCME in the last qualifying exam are eligible for all the B.Tech degree programs and those who appeared for the PCBE are eligible just to apply for B.Tech in any bio-stream Degree programs, as per the position scored in the VITEEE. The aggregate of 60% is mandatory in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology in the last qualifying exam of 10+2.
