TANCET 2018: Registration open till April 23

The online application for TANCET 2018 is open until April 23, 2018. Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET) is an entrance examination conducted by Anna University, Chennai for admission in various M.B.A., M.C.A., M.E., M. Tech., M. Arch., and M. Plan. degree courses offered by numerous University Colleges of Engineering, Regional Campuses of Anna University, Government Aided Engineering Colleges and Arts & Science Colleges and Self-Financing Colleges in the state of Tamil Nadu. TANCET 2018 Important dates are following:

The candidates aspiring to seek admission to various colleges and institutions accepting TANCET 2018 can now register themselves on the official website of TANCET i.e. https://www.annauniv.edu/tancet2018/index.html. Aspiring candidates can pursue following steps to fill TANCET 2018 Application Form:

Step 1: Registration process-

The candidate is required to enter their respective Name, Date of Birth, Gender, Email ID and password. After providing these details candidate must submit and create a user account.

Step 2: Academic and Personal Information-

This step includes academic details of the candidate. The details about previous degrees are to be mentioned here which includes Graduation information, year of passing etc. The candidate is also required to mention the course for which they are applying along with the preferred examination centre.

Step 3: Uploading Images-

The candidate is required to upload the following scanned images:
Photograph of the candidate in jpg/ jpeg format with the file size between 20 KB to 25 KB.
Signature of the candidate in jpg/ jpeg format with the file size between 20 KB to 25 KB.

Step 4: Payment of Registration Fees-

The candidate of general category is required to pay Rs. 500/- for each programme i.e. M.B.A. or M.C.A. or M.E./ M. Tech./ M. Arch., and M. Plan. The candidate who desires to appear for more than one programme is required to pay Rs. 500/- for each additional programme.
The candidate of the reserved category is required to pay Rs. 250/- for each programme i.e. M.B.A. or M.C.A. or M.E./ M. Tech./ M. Arch., and M. Plan. The candidate who desires to appear for more than one programme is required to pay Rs. 250/- for each additional programme.

Step 5: Review and Submit-

After entering all the required details and paying application fees, the candidate must review the application form carefully. After reviewing details, the form should be submitted. A complete application form of TANCET 2018 will be generated in PDF format. The candidate is required to download the form and take a print out for future reference.

TANCET 2018 entrance examination is scheduled to be conducted on May 19 & 20, 2018.
