JEE Advanced 2019: Registration Process Started @

The registration process for one of the most difficult Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) for engineering is now declared open. Candidates can anytime now visit the official website and complete JEE Advanced Application Procedure before the last date. As per the official notification released candidates who managed to secure a rank in top 2.45 lakh will be eligible to apply for the examination.


At present the registration window has been opened only for foreign candidates who wish to apply for JEE Advanced 2019, the last date to apply for the examination is May 9, 2019.

JEE Advanced is a gateway for the lakhs of engineering aspirants who wish to apply and pursue engineering undergraduate degree from Indian Institute of Technology (IITs).

It is important to note that at present the application window is opened only for candidates applying under foreign nationality and the same is open till May 9, 2019, post that any foreign candidate will not be able to apply for the exam.

For Indian applicants who qualified JEE Main 2019 in any of the two sessions conducted this year i.e. January and April, the registration process will start from May 3, 2019. Considering all the reservations applied in the said examination candidates who secured rank in top 2, 45,000 will be able to apply for the examination.

National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced earlier to release the JEE Main 2019 Result by April 30, 2019 but looking at the January sessions trend it is expected the result can be released any time this week.

JEE Advanced 2019 Eligibility:

JEE Advanced 2019 Eligibility to apply for the examination is as follow:

Education Qualification: Any candidate who qualified JEE main within the required cut off are eligible to apply for the exam. As per this year's notification total of top 2, 45,000 candidates will be eligible to apply for the examination. The below table represents the expected JEE Main Cutoff to apply in each category:

Age Limit: Applicants should have been born on or before October 1, 1994. There is certain age relaxation for the candidates applying through reserved category.

Indian Applicants:

  • Class 10th Certificate/Birth certificate
  • Class 12th Result
  • Category Certificate (If applicable)
  • PwD certificate (If applicable)
  • Scribe request letter
  • DS certificate
  • OCI card/PIO card

Foreign Applicants:

  • Photograph
  • Signature
  • Class 10 certificate
  • Class 12 certificate
  • Identity proof
  • Passport of mother
  • Passport of father
  • Testimonial as applicable

Steps to apply for JEE Advanced 2019:

Step 1: Candidate needs to visit the official website of the exam

Step 2: As now only foreign candidates will be able to apply there is an active link to apply.

Step 3: On clicking the link candidates will have to enter the basic required details for registration.

Step 4: After the successful registration candidate will be able to fill the application form followed by uploading the scanned copy of documents and signature.

Step 5: Make payment of the application fee to complete the registration process.
