IIT Delhi Postpones JEE Advanced 2020 Due to COVID-19 Outbreak. Read More to Know!

JEE Advanced 2020 – On Wednesday, the Indian Institutes of Technology Delhi (IIT Delhi) decided to postpone JEE Advanced 2020 Exam that was scheduled to be conducted on 17^th May 2020 (Sunday). Before this JEE Main 2020 Exam was postponed due to the COVID-19 outbreak and JEE Advanced is expected to be conducted after result declaration of JEE Main Examination (April). IIT Delhi took this decision to avoid and prevent the spread of Coronavirus pandemic.

IIT Delhi is the organizing institute for JEE Advanced 2020 announced the postponement of the exam and said that the exam will be rescheduled after the JEE Main (April) examination. As per the notification on the official website, it says:

“JEE (Main) 2020 April Examination has been postponed due to COVID-19 outbreak. JEE (Advanced) 2020, which was scheduled to be held on Sunday, May 17, 2020, thus stands postponed and will be rescheduled after JEE (Main) 2020.”

As per the schedule released by IIT Delhi, the registration procedure of JEE Advanced was scheduled to begin from 1^st May 2020 and conclude on 6^th May 2020 which might also delay considering the COVID-19 situation. JEE Advanced Admit Cards were to release on 12^th May 2020.

Thus, JEE Advanced has made into the long list of examinations that have been postponed due to the outbreak of COVID-19 across the country. Various examination such as JEE Main, CBSE Board, VITEEE, SSC CHSL, and many more have been postponed and the exact dates of every exam are yet to be released.
