UPSEE 2020 – Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam University commonly known as AKTU recently released the result of UPSEE Exam conducted on 20th September 2020. After the declaration of UPSEE Result, the officials of the university have decided to begin the counseling procedure i.e. UPSEE Counseling 2020 from 19th October 2020. Due to the spread of pandemic COVID-19 across the world, the UPSEE Counseling 2020 is scheduled to be conducted through online mode. The university will release the detailed structure of UPSEE Counseling shortly that too on the official website of the university i.e. www.aktu.ac.in.
UPSEE Counseling all set to begin from 19th October 2020
The link for online UPSEE Counseling will be made available for registration process after every round of UPSEE 2020 Counseling is concluded successfully. Qualified candidates will be required to complete the ‘Choice Filling and Locking' as per their preferences during the counseling procedure.
UPSEE Counseling 2020
In order to appear in UPSEE Counseling process, candidates would be required to get their documents verified at the counseling center. The entire process of UPSEE Counseling is divided in four rounds along with two spot rounds candidates will be required to go through. The officials will be held responsible for allotment of seats according to candidates' UPSEE Ranks, Choice of College and Course, and Availability of Seats.
Below mentioned is the stepwise procedure of UPSEE Counseling 2020
Step 1 – Registeration Process
Interested candidates must first register themselves on the official website of AKTU for UPSEE Counseling process by entering their roll number, application number, father's name, and date of birth. Upload the required documents for verification purpose. Process the payment of UPSEE Counseling fee using any online mode of payment i.e. net banking, credit card, or debit card.

Step 2 – Document Verification
After the verification of candidates' documents, a One Time Password (OTP) is sent to candidates. Candidates must use this OTP to log in for filling their choices of admission.
Step 3 – Choice Filling and Locking
Candidates are advised to mark and choose their preferred colleges along with courses. After logging into the official website, candidates can proceed further for selection of colleges and courses.
Step 4 – Seat Allotment
The result of Seat Allotment after UPSEE Counseling 2020 will be released on the official website of AKTU. There are various factors, selection of students is based on. These factors primarily include Preference of students, Performance in entrance examination, and Availability of seats.
Step 5 – Confirmation of Seat
Selected candidates can confirm their seats using the below mentioned options:

Candidates can choose ‘FREEZE' option to confirm their seat.

Choose ‘FLOAT' option if candidates wish to upgrade their allotted seat in the next counseling round.

Choose ‘WITHDRAWAL' if candidates do not wish to participate in any further counseling rounds conducted by the university.
Step 6 – Reporting to the Allotted College
Candidates must report to the allotted colleges to confirm their seat and admission. Students will be intimated their respective reporting dates.
