All India Forensic Science Entrance Test, also known as AIFSET 2023 is a national level entrance examination which is conducted to enrol students into the forensic science courses to the participating universities. Candidates who wish to pursue their career in this field can apply for the programs by taking this examination. The duration of the program is three years for the bachelor's program and two years for a master's degree program.

AIFSET Eligibility Criteria
B. Sc. Forensic Science
Candidates applying for the exam must have secured at least 50% marks in aggregate in higher secondary school (10+2) or any equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Mathematics as the main subjects.
M. Sc Forensic Science
Candidates applying for the exam must have secured a degree in B. Sc. in Forensic Science or B. Sc. in the relevant subjects from a recognized university with 50% marks in aggregate. Students in final year of their graduation can also apply for the exam. The maximum number of times one can apply for the exam is three.

Candidates can access their AIFSET Application login portal 48 hours before the scheduled AIFSET Exam Date to download admission cards.
The following information about the candidate will be printed on the Admit Card: Name, AIFSET Registration ID, Roll Number for AIFSET 2023, Date of Birth, Category, photograph, signature, examination schedule, examination time, and directions to applicants.

B. Sc. Forensic Science
B. Sc forensic science is a three-year undergraduate programme that focuses on scientific applications and expertise that aid in criminal investigation. This course covers a wide range of topics, including how to thoroughly analyse and evaluate various objects at crime scenes, which are the most essential evidence. Analysis at crime scenes could include anything from bloodstains, soil, bones, fingerprints, data recovery from mobile phones, laptop computers, DNA profiling, and so on. Forensic Science is primarily a crime-scene science, although graduates are sometimes called upon in civil disputes, such as demonstrating the authenticity of a signature on a will or an essential document. Forensic scientists are also contacted when there is a possibility that the people involved are cutting corners.

M. Sc Foreign Science
The Master of Science in Forensic Science is a two-year postgraduate degree that is divided into four semesters. The training focuses on the investigation of crimes.
