The Faculty of Law, University of Lucknow is one of the oldest and leading legal institutions in India, established in 1921. It is affiliated to the University of Lucknow and is approved by the Bar Council of India. The university has been accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with an ‘A++’ grade. Mr. Jag Mohan Nath Chak was the first Dean of the college. The Law Faculty was separated from the main Campus and shifted to the new Campus having a total area of more than 75 acres located on Sitapur Road, Lucknow from 2002-03. The campus has two Girl’s hostels, two Boy’s hostels, staff quarters, and a well-equipped Canteen, Play-ground among others including a Bank and Police outpost. Thus, the campus is a self-contained unit to provide all infrastructural facilities to teachers as well as students.

Hostel- The University provides a Hostel facility for both girls and boys, Both the Boys and girls’ hostel is situated in the main as well as the second campus in the university.
Sports- Lucknow University Law Faculty provides both indoor and outdoor sports facilities, and outdoor sports like cricket, football, and volleyball. Indoor facilities like badminton, table tennis, Chess and more.
