The Veer Bahadur Singh Purvanchal University, also commonly called the VBSPU, was initially known as the Purvanchal University, Jaunpur. VBSPU Jaunpurwas established on 2nd October, in the year 1987 as an affiliation to the Uttar Pradesh state university. Since then, the university has experienced continuous growth within the qualitative as well as the quantitative parameters.
VBSPU has successfully achieved academic excellence and has fostered a platform for well developed administrative activities. The university ensures transparent as well as efficient academics. The VBSPU administration is known to be one of the distinct characteristics of the Veer Bahadur Singh Purvanchal University, since its emergence. Initially, the university had started with around 68 affiliated colleges, which in the present day has gone up to 367 affiliated colleges, providing students with graduate, post graduate and undergraduate programs.
VBSPU Result is usually released for all the undergraduate and postgraduate programs, including the certificate courses that the students appear for, during the VBSPU admission as well as VBSPU academic year. There are more than 25 courses, for which the students can apply for the VBSPU admissions. The applicants will find a wide range of courses within the streams of Undergraduate, Post Graduate and Diploma Courses. VBSPU Admissions are completely merit based, that is, along with meeting the basic eligibility criteria, the students must attempt the VBSPU university conducted entrance exams. The entrance examination conducted by the university is known as Purvanchal University Combined Admission Test (PUCAT). To get into the rest of the VBSPU Admission process, the candidate must go through the national-level entrance exams, which include exams like the JEE Mains as well.The VBSPU Admission procedure is the same for all the courses that the university offers to all its applicants. To complete the registration process, applicants must apply through the VBSPU official website. At the admission portal, the students will also be made well versed with the university norms.
