On July 21 and 22, 2023, GD Goenka University and Fortis Mental Health School counselors from all around the nation came together for the "VARTAH: Values - Knowledge, Reform, Thrive, Action, and Hope. Managing Risk Behavior Summit for students in schools.
VARTAH is a cutting-edge nationwide convention for school counselors that strives to promote a unique platform for teaching provided by the culture of mental health within educational environments. to have discussions with educators and counselors about awareness, changes, and acts pertaining to the youth's and children's welfare.
The occasion included enlightening expert discussions delivered by eminent King's University lecturers. Singapore, James Cook University, Canada, and a number of foreign education specialists. Sessions concentrated on identifying risks and offering workable answers to common problems. and concerns with children's and adolescents' mental health, as well as instances of how these problems are administered internationally across a range of regional and cultural contexts.
"Empowering" is the theme of the Fortis National Mental Health Program, according to Dr. Samir Parikh. Youngsters in their formative years who have life skills to assist them go through the ups and downs overcoming setbacks and adversities requires tenacity, self-belief, and are capable of forging successful individual connections and contributing to society. A concentration on mental health and wellbeing as a crucial component of education to ensure positive overall growth.â€
