CCMT Counselling stands for Centralized Counselling for M. Tech/M. Arch/M. Plan and it is an online counselling as well as admission process for admission to the M. Tech/M. Arch/M. Plan program offered by the reputed institutions of the country. These institutes include NITs, IEST Shibpur, IIITs, NIFFT Ranchi, School of Planning and Architecture Vijayawada, University of Hyderabad, Central University of Rajasthan, Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering and Technology, Punjab Engineering College, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University Katra.
This year, the CCMT 2023 Counselling is being conducted by Malaviya National Institute of Technology Jaipur (MNIT Jaipur). In order to appear in CCMT 2023 Counselling, candidates must have appeared in and qualified GATE Exam 2023. Besides, candidates who qualified GATE Exam in the year 2023 and 2022 will also be considered eligible to participate in CCMT 2023 Counselling. Interested candidates must first register themselves for the counselling of CCMT by visiting the official website of it.
The counselling conducting authority will release the CCMT 2023 Counselling Dates on the official website – ccmt.admissions.nic.in. Below mentioned are the round wise GATE CCMT 2023 Dates:

The eligibility criteria of CCMT 2023 Counselling only require a valid GATE Scorecard. Candidates with a valid GATE Scorecard will be considered eligible to apply for the counselling process conducted. Students who appeared in any of the entrance exams conducted for admission to postgraduate programs such as M. Tech, M. Plan, M. Arch etc. and have registered themselves for CCMT Counselling Process, can check the opening and closing score based on which they can get admission to their desired colleges. Below mentioned are the links that students can refer to in order to check the opening and closing score for admission.

There are various types of CCMT 2023 Counselling Fees candidates would be required to pay during the process. Candidates can pay the fees to the CCMT Authorities using any of the online payment methods such as Debit Card, Credit Card, net Banking, UPI, or e-challan. There are five stages of CCMT Counselling Process:
CCMT seat allotment is based on the merit list and the availability of seats based on filled Choices in accordance with Government of India (GoI) Reservation norms. For each round of counselling, a merit list for seat allocations is released. There may be a tie if two or more candidates receive the same score. The following are the tie-breaker rules:

GATE 2023 Exam : Know All About Gate Exam

The CCMT 2023 Registration began in third week of May 2023.
The CCMT 2023 Registration fee for OBC category candidates is INR 2500. Candidates must know that this fee is non refundable.
The last date of CCMT 2023 online verification is last week of June 2023.
A valid GATE score is required for all applicants. They must have a minimum of 6.5 CGPA (on a 10-point scale) or 60% for OC/OB candidates, and 6.0 CGPA (on a 10-point scale) or 55% for SC/ST/PwD candidates.
CCMT is a centralized counselling process conducted for admission to postgraduate programs based on candidates’ performance in GATE Exam. The colleges considered for admission through CCMT Counselling are NITs, IIEST Shibpur, some IIITs & GFTIs.
To be eligible for CCMT Counselling, candidates must possess a valid score in GATE Exam and they should obtain at least 6.5 CGPA on a scale of 10 or 60% OC/OB.
There are different types of fees that students must make while applying for CCMT Counselling. These different types of fees are such as seat acceptance fees, partial admission fees, SR Registration fees, etc.
The start date for counselling has not been released by the authority yet but we can expect the whole procedure to conclude before September 30, 2023.
CCMT 2023 is being conducted by MNIT Jaipur. CCMT Counselling 2023 will be conducted for admission to NITs, IIITs, etc.
