Placement: The placements were very good in this college the highest package is 80 lpa which is secured by a student in computer science and engineering. The average package of overall under graduation is 14.39 lpa. The average package of computer science and engineering is 24 lpa which is better than even some of IIT’s
College: The college has very big campus of 625 acres . The environment is peaceful and pleasant. The placements were decent enough.$The hostels are too old and the food is not hygiene. The language used is not catchable for some of the students
Exam: There will be a mid semester and a end semester examinations per semester. The exam level was not too difficult and the books are available in the library and maximum students will study through the class notes which will be sent by professors

A College worth Joining !!
Placement: For placement and internships ,NITM have Training and placement cell which is very active .In 2018 104 students gets placed among 150 with average salary of 5 lakh .
Faculty: Faculty of NITM really very excellent and hard working .Many Professors are PHD holders from IITS and various tier 1 colleges and have good experience .Every year many research paper gets published from NITM.
College: NIT Meghalaya is the fastest growing institute among all new 11 NITs with decent placement record .
Faculty of the Institute is really hard working and qualified and strength of the faculty is also good as compared to no of students .
Placement of the college is also good in 2018 104 students gets placed out of 150 students with 5 lakh average salary .
Its permanent campus is in sohra under construction .Currently NIT M is functioning from its temporary campus in Shillong City .New campus will gets ready before 2022 March as said by MHRD.
It is a new NIT and best among all new NITs in just 8 year of establishment it is ranked 67th in 2019 NIRF ranking .
Exam: On the basis of JEE Main rank .
