The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is gearing up to announce the CBSE Supplementary Result 2025 for both CBSE 10th and 12. After conducting the supplementary exams in July, the board has begun the evaluation process of answer sheets, and results are expected in the first week of August 2025.
Students who took the CBSE Class 12 supplementary exam on July 15, 2025, or appeared for the Class 10 exams conducted between July 15 and 22, 2025, can soon access their scores via the official CBSE results website — results.cbse.nic.in.
How to Check CBSE Supplementary Result 2025 for Class 10 & 12
Once declared, students can follow these steps to access their compartment results:
- Visit results.cbse.nic.in
- Click on “CBSE 10th/12th Supplementary Result 2025” under the ‘2025 Results’ section.
- A login window will appear. Enter your:
- Roll number
- School number
- Admit card ID
- Date of birth
- Click “Submit.”
- Your result will be displayed on the screen.
- Download and print a copy for future reference.
Students can also use alternative platforms such as Digilocker, UMANG App, SMS, and IVRS in case the website experiences heavy traffic.
CBSE Supplementary Result 2025 via SMS
- For Class 10:
Type CBSE10 <roll number> <DOB DDMMYYYY> <school number> <centre number> and send to 7738299899 - For Class 12:
Type CBSE12 <roll number> <DOB DDMMYYYY> <school number> <centre number> and send to 7738299899 - An SMS will be returned with subject-wise marks.
CBSE Result 2025 via IVRS
Dial 24300699 followed by the local area code to hear your result. Note that calls are charged at 30 paise per minute.
What to Do After the Result?
- The online scorecard is provisional. Students must collect the original marksheet and migration certificate from their respective schools a few days after the result declaration.
- Results will also be uploaded to Digilocker for digital access.
- Students who have cleared the Class 10 supplementary exams can now apply for Class 11 in Science, Commerce, or Arts streams.
- If dissatisfied with marks, students can apply for rechecking/revaluation. However, no further changes will be entertained post-revaluation.
What If You Don’t Clear the Supplementary Exam?
Failure to clear the supplementary exams will require students to reappear in 2026, causing a loss of an academic year. The 2026 CBSE board exams are scheduled for February–March 2026.
Passing Criteria for CBSE Supplementary Exams 2025
- A minimum of 33% in each subject and aggregate is required to pass.
- For practical subjects, students must secure 33% in both theory and practical individually.
- Grades below “E” are considered as not passed.
