The CBSE Class 12 supplementary examinations for the academic year 2025 will be conducted on July 15, 2025. Unlike previous years, this time all subjects will be covered on a single day. The official supplementary date sheet was published by the Central Board of Secondary Education on June 26, 2025, through its website cbse.nic.in. These exams offer students who did not pass one or more subjects in the main board exams a chance to improve their scores.
This year, the CBSE conducted the Class 12 final board exams from February 15 to April 4, 2025, in traditional pen-and-paper mode. The detailed subject-wise timetable was released in advance on November 20, 2024, allowing students ample time to prepare. The board declared the results on May 13, 2025. Internal assessments and practical exams for winter-bound schools were held between November 5 and December 5, 2024, while other schools conducted them from January 1 to February 14, 2025. Students were advised to use their roll number mentioned on the admit card to check their scores on the CBSE official website.
All Class 12 board exams were scheduled in a single shift from 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM. The CBSE timetable 2025 not only provided the exam dates but also included specific guidelines for students. To succeed in the exams, students were encouraged to finish their syllabus early and revise thoroughly using past years’ question papers and official sample papers. Each theory exam carries a maximum of 80 marks, with the remaining 20 marks allocated for internal assessments like projects or practicals. To pass, it is essential for students to score at least 33 marks in every subject.
CBSE Class 12 Supplementary Date Sheet 2025
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) conducts supplementary or compartment exams for Class 12 students who are unable to clear one or two subjects in the regular board exams. These exams provide students with a second chance to improve their results without waiting an entire academic year.
The CBSE 12th Class Supplementary Exam Date Sheet 2025 has been released on the official CBSE website — cbse.gov.in. The written exams will be conducted on 15th July 2025, while the practical exams for the supplementary students are likely to take place between July 6 and July 20, 2025.

CBSE Board Exam 2025 Class 12 Important Guidelines
To ensure thorough preparation, students should aim to complete the entire CBSE 12th syllabus at least one to two months before the final exams. Finishing early allows ample time for comprehensive revision, which is crucial for concept retention and confidence building.
