The NEET 2025 counselling has begun on 21st July 2025 and will continue till 3rd October 2025. The NEET counselling process is entirely online and the candidates must register on the NEET counselling portal to participate in the NEET counselling process. The NEET 2025 exam was held on the 4th May 2025.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) releases the NEET exam dates based on the past year trends to maintain the parity and begin the academic session 2025-26 timely. The NEET 2025 result was released on their official website - nta.ac.in. on 14th June 2025. Once the NEET exam date is announced, the official notification and the NEET application form is released.

NEET 2026 application dates
The application form for NEET 2025was released online on 7th February 2025. The last date of application was 7th March 2025. The NEET 2025 registration is conducted as an entirely online process. NTA also provided a correction facility for the NEET 2025 applicants 9th to 11th March 2025 to make any corrections in the application form.
NEET 2026 advance intimation of exam city slip
The advance intimation of examination city slip is a document carrying the exam city name, released before the admit card. NTA released the NEET 2025 city intimation slip on 23rd April 2025 on the official website. It is to be noted that the NEET city intimation slip is not equivalent to the NEET hall ticket, and is not accepted at the exam centre.
NEET 2026 admit card date
The NEET 2025 admit card was released on 30th April 2025,which is four days before the exam date. The NEET admit card is a mandatory document to be carried to the NEET exam centre and must be preserved till the counselling process is over.
NEET 2026 exam date
The NEET 2025 exam was held on 4thMay 2025,from2 PM to 5.20 PM, Indian Standard Time (IST) across the designated exam centres located in India and abroad.

NEET 2026 answer key date
NTA released the NEET 2025 provisional answer keys and OMR response sheets on 3rd June 2025, which is exactly 1 month of conducting the exam. The challenge or objection submission window was opened on the same date of releasing the provisional answer keys and closed on 5th June. The final NEET 2025 answer key was released on 14th June 2025 as NEET 2025 result.
NEET 2026 result date
NTA released the NEET 2025 result and scorecard on 14th June 2025. The NEET 2025 cutoff is also released along with the NEET result, in the scorecard and the official press release. In the NEET merit list, NTA releases the NEET city and centre-wise result data, total number of candidates appearing and marks obtained by them. In general, NTA releases NEET result within a month of conducting the exam.
NEET 2025 counselling
The counselling for NEET 2025 begins on 21st July 2025. The entire duration of NEET counselling 2025 is scheduled for three to four months, till October 2025. There will be four to five rounds of NEET counselling. NTA’s role is over with the release of the NEET scorecards.
