NEET 2025 Counselling Step-By-Step Process

- Registration: Students must register for the NEET 2025 counselling process through the official NEET website. Students will be required to fill in their details with accurate and updated information. Doing so will provide students with their login credentials.
- Personal Details: After registering, students will be required to provide personal details. These include a student’s mother’s name, father’s name and residential address.
- Counselling Fee: After the previous formalities have been completed, students must pay the NEET counselling fee. For general category students, students must pay INR 1000 as a registration fee along with a refundable tuition fee of INR 10,000. After doing so, students will be provided with a registration slip, confirming their admission.
- Choice-Filling: This step of the NEET counselling process requires students to choose their colleges of choice. Students must fill-in their colleges in order of their preference.
- Choice-Locking: Once students are satisfied with their choices, they must lock their choices to confirm them. No choices can be modified after they are locked. It is recommended for students to take a printout of their choices.
- Seat Allotment: There are multiple rounds of seat allotment where students are allotted their seats in particular colleges. If a student is not happy with a particular seat allotment, they can participate in future rounds of counselling.
