What is CBSE Board Exams ?

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is a Board of Education for public and private schools, under the Union Government of India. It conducts class X and XII final annual examinations.

The aggregate marks obtained in class X and XII CBSE board examinations is considered as one of the major admission criteria for undergraduate programs in the country.

More than 10 lakh students appeared for the first exam. A majority of students found the paper easy and the questions direct. However a small percentage of students feel the paper was lengthy.

Students shared that it was an easy paper and they could finish it in three hours. Essay writing on topics like reservation was predicted, so was the letter writing. There was more focus on the Section C - writing part.

Business Studies exam was conducted on Thursday, March 3, 2016. The common verdict is that the exam was not at all easy; only those who had a thorough understanding of all the concepts can score well.

Aggregate Marks Obtained in CBSE Board Examinations along with the Average marks obtained in the best four subjects is an important admission criteria for undergraduate courses like BA,, BA Hons, BBA and B.Com Hons. Colleges offering these courses carry out admissions on the basis of merit; cut off lists are rolled out by eminent universities like Delhi University after the declaration of CBSE results.
