Today, January 17, is the last date for uploading the Photograph in the JEE Main 2025 application form session 1 as per required specifications. Candidates who have not made the corrections yet are advised to do so because the window will close tonight at 11:50 PM. In case the registered candidates fail to upload the photograph as per the required specifications, their application will get rejected.
The National Testing Agency found discrepancies in the photographs uploaded by candidates in some JEE Main application form 2025 session 1. It, then, decided to give such candidates an opportunity to upload the Photograph as per the specified and required specifications.
All the candidates whose photograph needs to be changed have been intimated through an SMS and email sent to their registered mobile number and email address respectively.
What are the Required Specifications for Uploading Photograph in JEE Main 2025 Application Form Session 1?
The candidates must visit the official website and log in using their JEE Main login credentials. They must enter their JEE Main application number and password to log in.
The last date to upload the photograph is January 17, 2025 up till 11:50 PM.

Other Important Specifications are:
- Passport sized photograph should be between 10 kb to 300 kb.
- It should be a recent coloured photograph with at least 80% of the face visibility including ears against white background.
- The name of the photograph should be ‘Photograph’.
- It should be in JPG/JPEG format.
- Candidates can use spectacles only if they regularly use them.
- Polaroid and computer generated photos are not allowed.
- Applications not complying with these specifications WILL get rejected.
- The photographs need not be attested. Candidates are advised to keep up to 6 to 8 colored photographs.
- Candidates must keep note of the points mentioned above and act accordingly.
