IIT Guwahati Admission
IIT Guwahati Admissions 2024 will soon start. The B.Tech admission is based on the JEE Advanced 2024 Exam and JoSAA counseling. The exam will held on 26 May 2024. The qualified candidates will be called for JoSAA counseling for seat allotment based on their 12th merit and JEE Advanced score. Below is mentioned the step-wise IIT Guwahati Admission procedure for the B.Tech candidates.
IIT Guwahati Admissions 2024: How to Apply
- Qualify for the JEE Advanced 2024 exam, which will be held on May 26, 2024.
- Go to the official IIT Guwahati Admissions page and finish the online application.
- Fill out the application form, and provide scanned copies of the necessary documents.
- Pay the application fee and keep a copy of the payment confirmation for future reference.
- Once your application has been processed, you may get the admit card from the official website.
- Take the JEE Advanced exam on the allotted day and time.
- After the exam, visit the official website to get the JEE Advanced 2024 results.
- Participate in the JoSAA counseling process to choose your preferred course and institute.
- Carry all necessary original documents for the document verification process after counseling.
- Pay the Admission fees after the seat allotment.
- Complete the registration process at IIT Guwahati.
IIT Guwahati CutOff 2024
IIT Guwahati B.Tech Admission is based on JEE Advanced Cutoff along with JoSAA Counseling. For the B.Tech Admission in 2024, candidates are required to qualify for the JEE Main 2024 exam, which is going to be held from 24 January 2024 to 1 February 2024. After qualifying for the JEE Main 2024, candidates must appear for the JEE Advanced 2024 exam on 26 May 2024. IIT Guwahati Placement Details
According to the reports, Phase 1 of the IIT Guwahati Placement 2024 is concluded. A total of 712 candidates were placed during the placements by December 2023. Till now, the IITG’s HIghest International Package is Rs. 2.05 CPA whereas the Highest Domestic Package offered is Rs. 1.20 CPA. A total of 250 companies visited for the placements. The Top Recruiting companies during IIT Guwahati placement 2024 include Microsoft, Google, Bank of America, Mercedez, Bharat Petroleum, HPCL, Bajaj, Akasa Air, Qualcomm, and Texas Instruments.

However, it has been producing some of the top minds and entrepreneurs. It has a great placement opportunity. Last Year it had Rs. 1.31 CPA highest package. So, if you’re looking for clean oxygen and great skill developments, IIT Guwahati can hit the spot.
