How to download the JEE Main result?

To download the JEE Main 2025 result, the candidates need to follow the below procedure.

• Visit the JEE Main official website- jeemain.nta.nic.in result 2025
• Click on JEE Main Result Login NTA link
• Enter your JEE Main Application Number, password/date of birth and security pin
• Click on Submit button and JEE Main Result 2025 will be displayed on the screen
• Download and take printouts of your JEE Main 2025 result for future reference

Candidates are advised to keep their scorecards safe till the admission process concludes. A copy of JEE Main result 2025 will be required at the time of counselling and admission process in the institute.

How many marks are required to pass the JEE Main exam?

Based on previous trends, the minimum marks required to pass JEE Main 2025 will vary by category. Last year, the general category cutoff was around 93 marks. This year, due to possible changes in the JEE Main 2025 Exam Pattern or syllabus, it is expected that the passing marks might slightly differ.

For the general category, applicants are likely to need around 90 marks to pass. For GEN-EWS applicants, the expected cutoff is around 80 marks. For SC and ST categories, the passing marks may be around 57 and 46, respectively.

To appear for the JEE Advanced exam, applicants should aim for a higher score.
