The NTA is going to conduct JEE Main session 2 exams from April 2 to 9, 2025. Candidates may feel nervousness, anxiety, excitement, etc. before appearing in the exam, and to help students deal with such emotions, we've provided a detailed analysis of “What to expect from JEE main session 2 based on session 1” here.

As per the JEE Main session 1 analysis, the exam was moderate, and each section’s difficulty level was different. The JEE Main session 2 difficulty level is expected to be the same as session 1 this year. As per the applicant's reviews, the maths section was the toughest, and it may be tougher in JEE main session 2 as the authorities tend to balance the competition level by varying the difficulty level in session 2 usually. The mathematics section was also time-consuming, and it took students longer to solve the section than the estimated time, which led to an increase in the JEE Mains difficulty level. 

Expected Changes in JEE Main 2025 Session 2

The JEE main difficulty level for session 2 is expected to be almost the same as session 1; however, the NTA can change the level of difficulty based on the competition level of the exam. To check out all the expected updates regarding the JEE Main Session 2 Difficulty Level, kindly refer to the following.

  • To make the competition stable and fair, the question paper design may slightly vary, and the difficulty level can also increase from the previous session.
  • More difficult questions in the Physics and math sections can be added, and it may consume more time to answer.
  • The Chemistry section again will be completely based on NCERT; however, there can be a few applied questions as well.

Strategy for JEE Main Session 2 Preparation
