Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Roorkee Admission Details
Admission Procedure:
Candidates seeking admission to any of the IIT Roorkee courses must take the appropriate entrance exam and qualify for the IIT Roorkee cutoff and PI rounds. Admission to various courses at IIT Roorkee is through an entrance examination. The candidates are chosen through national-level tests administered by several authorities. JoSAA Counselling is used to choose students for IIT Roorkee's BTech programme.
Minimum Eligibility:
The student should have passed XII examination with 75% marks with subjects like physics, chemistry, and mathematics. and age consideration is also there like the students born after October 1991, Five years relaxation for the reserved category students.
IIT Roorkee BTech Cutoff 2024
IIT Roorkee BTech and BArch admissions are based on the JEE Advanced score, followed by JoSAA counselling. JoSAA has issued six rounds of seat allotments for 2023. The following table shows the closing cutoff for the IIT Roorkee BTech program in the general category:

Placement: The minimum percentage of placements in each branch is 70%. My senior got placed in the foreign country, and the internships are far better than the other colleges. Some of my seniors did their internship in
Schlumberger, Samsung, Goldman Sachs, R&D, and much more companies.The placements are very good. The average salary is 15 lakhs per annum. Various high profiles and big companies like Cisco, Microsoft, Intel, etc. recruit here. Highest package for this year is from Microsoft which is about 1.3 crores& lowest package is 15 Lacs per annum.

Placement: Placement is almost 100 percent for students. Highest salary goes upto 80 LPA and average salary is around 10LPA

Best college of North India
Faculty: The professors are highly qualified, but there is a gap between teacher and students due to a large number of student in a class. Besides this, the college has a good method of providing 1 teaching assessment for 15 students. The lab is done on a regular basis. The quality of professors is truly high.
