IIT Bombay Placements 22 students received job offers worth more than INR 1 crore per annum during the first round of placements in 2023-24. The majority of the Highest Salary Packages have been earned in the Research Development sector, with the IIT Bombay Average Package currently standing at INR 36.90 LPA, over 14% higher than last year. IIT Bombay Admissions are done based on JEE Advanced scores, The JEE Main 2024 result for Session 1 is available. IIT Bombay Cutoff 2024 will be notified when the IIT Bombay JEE Advanced 2024 results are released stay tuned to find out the updated cutoff information.
About IIT Bombay: An independent research facility called IIT Bombay is situated in Mumbai close to Powai Lake. Its facility is spread out across 545 acres of land. Over 85 courses are offered on the IIT Bombay campus, which has successfully expanded to include 13 academic departments, 34 centres, 17 departments, and 3 schools. IIT Bombay has been ranked third among India’s top engineering colleges by NIRF for 2023.
IIT Bombay Placements
The IIT Bombay Average Placement Package was INR 21.82 Lakhs, and it was well-known for its high return on investment. The IIT Bombay BTech program costs around INR 9.2 Lakhs in total. According to the QS World University Ranking by Subject 2023, IIT Bombay is rated 47th overall in engineering and technology.
Furthermore, 63 students accepted international offers during the first phase. The 1,188 students who were placed received a total of 1,340 employment offers. This comprises seven PSUs and 297 PPOs. Airbus, Apple, Google, and Intel were among the Top Recruiters that participated in IIT Bombay Placements in 2024. Previously, the largest foreign and domestic packages offered at IIT Bombay Placements 2023 were INR 3.67 crore and INR 1.68 crore, respectively.
Furthermore, the Average Package awarded in IIT Bombay Placements 2023 was INR 21.82 LPA. In addition, the overall placement rate for IIT Bombay Placements 2023 was 82%. Furthermore, 384 organizations participated in the IIT Bombay placements 2023, with 1,898 offers issued. IIT Bombay internships 2023 resulted in a total of 1,104 internship offers. Uber, Rubrik, and Millennium were among the main recruiters who visited the IIT Bombay campus during the 2023 placement season.
The Highest International Package given in 2023 increased by about 75% when compared to 2022. IIT Bombay Highest Package 2023 fell by about 7% as compared to 2022. The Average Package 2023 increased by more than 1% when compared to 2022. The data and figures have indicated that the finance sector has been the sector with the highest packages.
