The IIT Bombay Placements Statistics show variation in placement rates over the years. The placement rate rose from 62.07% in 2021 to 93.83% in 2022. Post-pandemic economic recovery may have increased demand for aeronautical specialists, causing this surge. Despite more applicants, the placement rate dropped to 80.41% in 2023 and 63.86% in 2024. This year, the highest number of candidates, 119, participated in the placements, but the results did not improve.
